Hi there! My name is Abril Centurion and I am CEO of The Skin Clear Studio, Licensed Esthetician, and Oceanside's #1 Face Reality Certified Acne Specialist. I was born in Argentina and grew up in Southern California where my passion for beauty and skincare began at a very young age. After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, I began breaking out constantly and my acne began to consume me. I became like a detective trying to figure out what was causing my acne. I ended up going back to school to get my Esthetics license in the pursuit of trying to clear my own acne and perhaps one day clear others too! I realized that drugstore acne brands never worked for me and the only solutions dermatologists offered involved prescription topical or oral medications, which either ended up making my acne worse or only temporarily fixed the problem. Post Esthetics school, I was still breaking out. And then I found Face Reality. I heard about their Acne Specialist Training Program through an Aesthetician I looked up to and I decided to become a Certified Acne Specialist myself. Since then, I have changed the lives of people struggling with acne and in doing so have unlocked a new level of fulfillment. I understand acne can be a REAL struggle, not only externally but internally. Skin health is mental health. Because of this, I made it my purpose in life to help others clear their acne and age well in the process. I am thoroughly trained in my craft and look forward to changing the lives of many more through my holistic skincare treatments and customized regimens.
